Privacy policy

PantallApp (the “Service”) is a platform for creating and managing digital signage screens in food businesses, available at pantallapp.com and app.pantallapp.com. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have.

1. What data we collect

• Account data: your business name, your email address and, if you sign up with email, your password (we store it only in encrypted, one-way form, never as readable text).
• Sign-in with Google: if you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your email, your name and a unique identifier of your account from Google. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your email, contacts, Drive or any other data in your Google account.
• Content you upload: images, videos, dish names, descriptions and prices that you set up on your screens.
• Data of your company’s users: emails and roles of the people you invite to manage your account.
• Technical data: IP address and basic usage logs for security (for example, limiting repeated sign-in or sign-up attempts), and the last connection time of each screen.
• Billing: the plan you chose, your branches and the payments recorded. We do not store card numbers in this Service.

2. What we use it for

• To create your account, authenticate you and keep your session.
• To show your content on the screens you set up and to store it securely.
• To manage your plan, branches and users, and to contact you about the Service (account notices, support, important changes).
• To protect the Service against abuse, unauthorized access and automated sign-ups.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies

We only use a session cookie, necessary to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The screen player stores a local copy of the content on the device so it can keep working if the internet connection drops.

4. Who we share data with

Only with providers we need in order to run the Service:

• Google, for sign-in with Google (verifying your identity), for sending the emails of the Service and for encrypted backups.
• Cloudflare, for the anti-bot check (Turnstile) on the sign-up form, which processes technical browser data to tell people from automated programs.
• Server provider (VPS), where the application and its data are hosted.

We may also disclose data if a competent authority requires it by law.

5. Where it is stored and for how long

Data is stored on servers with restricted access and backed up in encrypted form. We keep it while your account is active. If you close it, we delete your data and content, except what we must keep for legal or accounting obligations, and backups, which are deleted within a maximum of 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or objection to the processing of your personal data, and the portability of your content, by writing to gonzalo.ortegacon@gmail.com. We will answer within a reasonable time. You can withdraw PantallApp’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords stored with one-way encryption, attempt limits, separation between each company’s data and encrypted backups. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, we will let you know.

8. Minors

The Service is aimed at businesses and people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we will announce them in the Service or by email and update the date above.
